Data protection preamble

We are pleased that you would like to find out more about the data protection issues on our website. We are Vienna in a different way (Raimund Novotny) and our websites and their data protection design should be perceived as a customer-oriented, comprehensible quality feature. We inform you which of your personal data is processed in our systems or in the systems of our service providers. Personal data is information that can be attributed to a person, both directly and indirectly.

Data transmission and storage duration Data is only transferred to security authorities and competent courts in the event of unlawful use. The data is stored for up to three years in accordance with §§ 1293 ff ABGB. The server is provided to us by a service provider who is contractually obliged to do so in accordance with Article 28 GDPR.

2. online orders

Purpose of data processing, legal basis: We process your data on the legal basis of contract fulfillment within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR in order to fulfill the following purposes:

  • Delivery and execution of the order you have booked
  • Carrying out requests to interrupt delivery, recording and processing complaints, data updates, order changes
  • Sending the order confirmation by post or e-mail
  • Creation and dispatch of invoices and assertion of outstanding invoice amounts (dunning process)

The following data, which is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract, is stored for contract processing: Name, billing address, delivery address, product/booking, delivery data, contact data, correspondence, payment data (credit card number, account data, etc.).

Addition for payment data

You can pay your invoice with us using various systems; the legal basis for the use of this data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Your payment data is encrypted during the ordering process and transmitted over the Internet. Due to a special integration into the ordering process, we do not have access to your payment data at any time and are therefore not processors of this data. This data is processed exclusively by these payment service providers:

Data transmission and storage duration

The legal basis for the transfer of data to the payment service provider you have chosen (for the purpose of debiting the purchase price) is regulated in § 96 para. 3 TKG in conjunction with Art. 6 para. 1 lit a and b GDPR. The legal basis for the transmission to the shipping company commissioned by us (for the purpose of delivering the goods) and to our tax advisor (to fulfill our tax obligations) is regulated in § 96 para. 3 TKG in conjunction with Art 6 para. 1 lit b and f GDPR.

If you stop the sales process, the data you have provided will be deleted. If a contract is concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the tax retention period (7 years). The data name, address, purchased goods and date of purchase are also stored until the expiry of product liability (10 years).

Purposes of data processing/legal basis:

The contents of the newsletter include promotions as well as goods and services from Wien mal anders.

In order to receive our newsletter, you need a valid e-mail address. We will check the e-mail address you have entered (double opt-in) to ensure that you are actually the owner of the e-mail address provided or that the owner has authorized receipt of the newsletter. When you register for our newsletter, we will save your IP address and the date and time of your registration. This is to protect us in case a third party misuses your e-mail address and subscribes to our newsletter without your knowledge. Your e-mail address will not be added to our mailing list until you click on our confirmation link.

Newsletter tracking

Our newsletters contain so-called tracking pixels (web bugs), which enable us to recognize whether and when an email was opened and which links in the email were followed by the personalized recipient. We store this data so that we can tailor our newsletters to the wishes and interests of our subscribers. With the revocation of the consent to receive the newsletter, the consent to the aforementioned tracking is also revoked.

Storage period/criteria for determining the storage period

The storage period is 3 years if you are not a customer, otherwise until you withdraw your consent.

Cancellation/revocation

You can cancel or revoke your subscription to our newsletter free of charge and at any time for future newsletters. Details on how to unsubscribe can be found in the individual newsletters.

If you file an objection, the relevant contact address will be blocked for any further data processing for advertising purposes.

Due to technical circumstances and a necessary lead time for advertisements, it may happen that advertising material is sent to you even though you have lodged an objection. This does not mean that we will not implement your objection, but that the advertising mailing was processed at the same time. We thank you for your understanding.

This website uses the "Google Analytics" service offered by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) to analyze website usage by users. The service uses "cookies" - text files that are stored on your end device. The information collected by the cookies is generally sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

IP anonymization is used on this website. The IP address of users is truncated within the member states of the EU and the European Economic Area. This shortening eliminates the personal reference of your IP address.
