Nestled between Favoritenstraße and Senefeldergasse, the Victor-Adler-Markt is located in the heart of the 10th district. This is one of the most unconventional markets in Vienna with an unmistakable ambience. Among connoisseurs, it is also known as the "Platzl" and at the stalls the Viennese Schmäh like hardly anywhere else. The louder the vendors advertise their wares, the more authentic the market - here you can experience the original Vienna. It is also one of the most traditional markets in Vienna with a history of almost 150 years after the founding year 1877.
Our tip: A detour to the Leibnizgasse is worth a visit, because there is a rustic farmers' market with regional products!

Every Friday, Liesinger Platz is transformed into a colorful marketplace with around 15 stands. Here you will find fresh food, organic products and culinary specialties. The market has only been around since 2005, but it hides a history full of commitment on the part of the stallholders. The group has founded an association to set up and run this market in Vienna itself.
